Mukondi Ralushayi Kgomo

Mukondi was named the 2022 Adfocus Shapeshifter of the Year, was included in the 2020 Mail & Guardian Young 200 South Africans, and is the 2023 President of the Pendoring Awards Jury.
Mukondi began her career twelve years ago as a copywriter at Ogilvy Johannesburg then moved to FCB Africa where she worked on multiple blue-chip brands before venturing into the entrepreneurship world. She has won numerous advertising awards and served as a judge for local and international award shows such as ADC Young Guns, Ad Stars, Creative Circle, Loeries, Pendorings and Cannes Young Lions. She is known for having created some of South Africa’s most loved ads including Coca-Cola’s Bobby commercial, which became best practice in over 90 countries, but she regards her finest achievement as the impact work she gets to make on society through projects like The Feel Party, which she co-founded to bring awareness to breast cancer. In addition, Mukondi’s philanthropic work spans over ten years, from raising funds for school kids, volunteering at a hospice, donating to various charities, mentoring young creatives and partnering with NGOs and Social Enterprises.
Through her passion for improving women’s lives, Mukondi also co-founded Milq, a wearable, low-noise, hands-free breast pump that provides moms the freedom to pump anywhere, anytime.
She has presented on topics such as entrepreneurship, being a woman in business and the creative industry on various platforms, including GIBS. She has also been featured by Destiny Magazine, Radio 702, Kyk Net and Bizcommunity, to name a few.

Having worked on local and global campaigns for some of the world’s most loved brands at the helm of Africa’s top multinational agencies, Nkgabiseng Motau co-founded Think Creative Africa where she is currently Chief Creative Officer. Think is a through-the-line creative agency that combines truly African creativity and data-led insights to generate ideas that solve business problems and impact society.
With over a decade of experience in the communications industry, Nkgabiseng has collected many creative accolades including a gold Pendoring Award for the branding design of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital in Johannesburg, a Gold Loerie Award in the category of Effective Creativity on behalf of Coca-Cola and recently, two gold Loeries for Vodacom’s The hearing challenge. During her time working on the Coca-cola account, she created one of the only campaigns to come out of Africa and be adopted in over 95 countries around the world.
In addition to Coca-cola, she has worked on award-winning campaigns for other bluechip clients of Think Creative Africa, such as Vodacom, Metropolitan and DStv. Nkgabiseng is a member of the Creative Circle SA EXCO Board, the ABInbev Braintrust and has been a juror for ADC, The One Show, Ad Stars, Dubai Lynx and Cannes Lions. Recently she has been the jury chair for the regional ANDYs show in Africa and The Pendoring Awards.
